This mess is fixed. Ruins was the best ever (even if it took 17 seconds to load). Auric hurts my eyes. It’s like a golden plated turd. It’s aesthetically disingenuous. It’s dilapidated hypocrisy. Ugly incarnate. I are serious troll. This is serious contest. Treat is as such, not (that) ugly.
Don’t make any more templates. Surely you have other “talents”

Anything’s better than blandness, sweetie. If I made yet another standard-issue fixed-width two-col blue-headered theme that nobody could even be bothered to hate, that would be a failure.
[I know, I know. Feeding trolls is a bad habit of mine. What can I say, the little whiny noises they make are sort of cute.]
Meanwhile, the download is at http://not-that-ugly.co.uk/auric.zip ;)

Big Red Flameseph: I find it odd that it took such a long time to load. On my slower than 56k connection, the page loads in under 7 seconds.
But oh well, I suppose I’ll just have to make some more entries to compete, seeing as my chances of winning this round are pretty darn slim. =P

“Anything’s better than blandness, sweetie.” — EXCUSE ME? Since when did Word gradients escape the denomination of ‘bland’? Your template is about as aesthetically pleasing as a brick in the face. Jesus, I used to make golden grass in Photoshop back when I didn’t know the first thing about graphics that looked better than that.
No, the obvious conclusion here is that you’re a pure unadulterated failure. The fact that you even have the audacity to run around claiming your template is about as awesome as the coming of Jesus or something supports that. So, not-that-ugly, how about using some-of-that-acid on your brain, see if that helps put things in perspective for you. Or drink it.
