How to convert video files to DVD using VSO ConvertXtoDVD
ConvertXtoDVD is the new improved software that replaced DivxToDVD from VSO Software. It has the ability to convert multiple file types, including AVI files ( DivX or XviD supported), Quicktime files ( MOV ) , Windows Media Video files (WMV) etc.. to DVD . It produces a VIDEO_TS folder containing your DVD files (. VOB , . BUP and . IFO) and can burn it directly to DVD. It can convert NTSC to PAL and vice versa, 4:3 or 16:9 output and also has more bitrate options than previous versions of the software. It has support for manual or automatic chapters, subtitle streams and multiple audio streams also. It will also automatically output a menu. This registered version of the software encodes at almost twice the speed of the free version.
Introduction & Requirements
ConvertXtoDVD - You need to purchase a license for this software to unlock it completely. Unregistered versions of the software add a watermark which slows down the process dramatically.
In this guide I will go through the steps of encoding an AVI file to DVD, including multiple audio streams and subtitles. I will also give you a tour of the Interface and show you how you can use the program to its fullest. So without any further delay, lets take a look at the customizable interface for ConvertXtoDVD but first, you might want to set the program to your language of choice. If your language of choice is english, then skip straight ahead to the Interface.
Selecting a language
ConvertXtoDVD can be viewed in many languages including English, Finnish, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish etc.. To select a language simply click Settings --> Language. Now just pick whichever you want from a list and click OK. Now lets take a look at the Interface.
