Tutorial idea? - Move poser details in prosilver
Might be worth putting up a tutorial to move the poster details to the left in prosilver?

Seems to be a popular change people want to make.

I'm actually used to the details on the right now and prefer it. Seems a lot of people will still want to alter that though.

That tutorial is great CA but there was one small problem for it when I applied the changes to my CVS.... What happened was that the user details were displayed right over the ONLINE image....

So I was able to correct it by adding these lines to content.css under the class .postprofile :

Quote:
position:relative;
left:40px;

You can do that by increasing padding-left instead of positioning it.

This is what I get if I either make use of padding-left or increase the left margin.... The profile fields move below :

I tried this already and so only I had to position it using postion attribute and set an appropriate value from the left.... Then I was able to obtain this....

It is also possible to add a class to display profile on left or right by editing the css and viewtopics.
I have added a switch in viewtopics to check a variable and then use the appropriate class... Will post details if this is of any interest...

Normally I would not redirect to another site (even my own) but as any modification of core can result in the need to answer questions after additional beta updates which may affect the mod... it may be best to provide a link in this case... Perhaps if it work well CA may add it to the tutorials
