100,000 Covers !!!

This is an important day in the short history of AllCDCovers. We've just passed the 100,000 CD and DVD covers milestone and I wanted to express our gratitude to all the uploaders and users who made this possible.
Keep those uploading coming and I'll post again once we pass the 200,000 milestone

May Album Art Upload Contest

After seeing the huge success of our previous upload contest where our collection has grown to over 87,000 covers (!!!) we have decided to continue the tradition and hold another cd/dvd upload contest for the month of May. Unlike previous month, your score and ranking will be determined by several factors where extra points will be given to users who fulfill requests and actively participate in the site according to the following table:

Approved upload: 50 points
Request fully satisfied: 50 points
Request partially satisfied: 25 points
Bonus for fulfilling popular request: 10 points
Rating a cover: 1 point

The winners will receive the following prizes:
First prize: Pinnacle Soundbridge M1001 WiFi Media Player
Second Prize: 2GB Sumvision YUMI PRO MP3/MP4 Player
Third Prize: Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1

The contest is open to all registered members of the site (registration is of course free) and prizes will be shipped world wide. All you need to do in order to participate is upload your covers and fulfill requests. You can track the status of your uploads in your user page (the link with your username at the top of the page) as well as your overall rank at our statistics page.

I'm happy to announce the winners in our first ever upload contest. But before doing so I want to thank all the hundreds of users who sent their covers and contributed to the amazing growth of our database. Special thanks also goes to all those of you who fulfilled requests of other users. This will be taken into the scoring of the May upload contest (more on that later).

In celebration of passing the 10,000 titles mark and as our way to say thank you to all our loyal users who made this possible, we are holding our first official upload contest during April in which we will be rewarding the top three uploaders with these wonderful prizes:

Request Related Bugs

Our request page has some pretty complicated logic behind it and since it was only recently launched there are still some bugs hiding in it. We are aware of the problem when trying to fulfill a request (upload stuck) and are working in fixing it asap. Thank you for your patience and please note that this bug doesn't effect regular uploads done through our [URL="http://www.allcdcovers.com/upload"]upload page[/URL]. UPDATE: All request related bugs have been solved and the request page is fully functional.

Upload Your HD DVD and Blu-ray Covers

I'm happy to announce that after many days of beta testing our revolutionary [URL="http://www.allcdcovers.com/request/list/1"]request[/URL] page is finally online. We've created a streamlined process where you can request any cover you want using our user friendly wizard and get notified automatically as soon as someone uploads the covers. Further more, you can track the status of your requests via RSS as well as view other useful information in your user page (click on your username at the top). Give it a try and let us know what you think.

We've been busy behind the scenes adding new features to site. Your user pages have been enhanced with detailed stats about your uploads. You are now able to see which are your most popular uploads as well as which ones are the highest ranked. To view the page just click on your username at the top of the main site.
